Jim O'Brien, owner of Quest Crawl Space Systems, had more than 15 years in the business prior to joining the team. He first took up the cause of controlling and exterminating wood destroying insects when performing a termite treatment in New Jersey.
During his many years of experience, he has seen firsthand that the typical design for below grade spaces have proven to be a very bad idea-- one that allows pests to thrive and propagates moisture-related problems of all types.
In addition to being an experienced termite technician, he is also a licensed and credentialed Wood Destroying Insect/Organism Inspector with the New Jersey Pest Management Association.
He attended the Master Termite Technician School at Clemson University Sandhill Research & Education Center in Columbia, SC.
Jim has also been thoroughly trained in structural mold detection and control, earning the esteemed title "Certified Microbial Remediator" by both the American Indoor Air Quality Council and the Indoor Air Quality Association.
He is a "Certified CleanSpace Technician" for the Basement Systems International Contractor Network, having attended a series of trainings and passed a certification test through the network.
